Stock dividends are additional shares of a company's stock that are distributed to existing shareholders as a form of dividend payment. Instead of receiving cash, shareholders receive more shares of the company's stock. This can be a way for a company to reward its shareholders without using cash, and it can also help to increase the number of shares outstanding. Stock dividends are typically expressed as a percentage, such as a 5% stock dividend, which means that for every 100 shares owned, the shareholder would receive an additional 5 shares. **

If your triops are no longer visible in their tank, it is possible that they have died or burrowed under the substrate. Triops are known to bury themselves in the substrate when they are stressed or preparing to molt. You can gently sift through the substrate to see if you can find them. If you still cannot locate them, it is likely that they have died. **

Triops are often larger and have a more complex life cycle, while brine shrimp are smaller and reproduce quickly in saltwater environments. Triops are also known for their unique ability to enter a state of suspended animation when their habitat dries up, allowing them to survive in harsh conditions. Ultimately, the choice between Triops and brine shrimp depends on the specific needs of the animals being fed and the preferences of the keeper. **
