The beatitudes are a set of teachings given by Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount, found in the Gospel of Matthew. They are a series of blessings that describe the characteristics and attitudes that are valued in the Kingdom of God. So, while the beatitudes contain blessings, they are not the same as blessings. The beatitudes are more like a set of guidelines for living a blessed and fulfilling life, while blessings are the actual state of being favored or receiving divine favor. **

Instead of receiving cash, shareholders receive more shares of the company's stock. This can be a way for a company to reward its shareholders without using cash, and it can also help to increase the number of shares outstanding. Stock dividends are typically expressed as a percentage, such as a 5% stock dividend, which means that for every 100 shares owned, the shareholder would receive an additional 5 shares. **
