Stock dividends are additional shares of a company's stock that are distributed to existing shareholders as a form of dividend payment. Instead of receiving cash, shareholders receive more shares of the company's stock. This can be a way for a company to reward its shareholders without using cash, and it can also help to increase the number of shares outstanding. Stock dividends are typically expressed as a percentage, such as a 5% stock dividend, which means that for every 100 shares owned, the shareholder would receive an additional 5 shares. **

Some arguments against etiquette classes include the belief that they reinforce outdated social norms and hierarchies, promote a sense of elitism or superiority among those who receive the training, and can be seen as a form of cultural imperialism by imposing Western standards of behavior on diverse populations. Additionally, critics argue that etiquette classes may prioritize superficial manners over genuine kindness and respect for others, and that they can be costly and inaccessible to those from lower socioeconomic backgrounds. **

In France, etiquette is highly valued and plays an important role in social interactions. It is important to greet people with a handshake or a kiss on the cheek, depending on the level of familiarity. Punctuality is also highly regarded, so it is important to arrive on time for social engagements. When dining, it is customary to wait for the host to start eating and to keep your hands on the table, not in your lap. Additionally, it is polite to say "please" (s'il vous plaît) and "thank you" (merci) in all interactions. Overall, showing respect and consideration for others is key to following French etiquette. **

Contradictory rules in etiquette are guidelines or expectations that conflict with each other, making it difficult to know the appropriate behavior in a given situation. For example, one rule of etiquette may dictate that it is polite to arrive at a party on time, while another may suggest that it is more appropriate to arrive fashionably late. Another example could be the conflicting expectations around whether it is polite to finish all the food on your plate or to leave a little bit to show that you are satisfied. These contradictory rules can create confusion and uncertainty about the "correct" way to behave in social situations. **
